House Rules

  • Mutual respect: Treat your housemates with respect at all times, both in words and actions. We have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, ableism, or religious discrimination.
  • Open communication: We encourage an environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing their concerns and needs.
  • Cleanliness and order: By not acquiring the cleaning service provided by Blue Jeans Coliving, you agree to keep your room clean. You must request a broom, mop, and cloths from management periodically to clean your space. ALL guests must take care of the common areas as if they were their own. If a guest or their visitor breaks or damages any of the items, decorations, furniture, or infrastructure of Blue Jeans Coliving, the responsible guest will be liable for the damages and must cover the necessary amount for repair or replacement. It will be deducted from their deposit, and if the amount exceeds their deposit, the responsible guest must pay the difference out of pocket.
  • Privacy: Respect the privacy of your housemates and adhere to their pre-established boundaries. Entering another guest’s room without permission is not allowed.
  • Schedules and noise: Quiet hours start at 11:00 PM to ensure that everyone can study and rest properly. Loud noises are not permitted in the study area; it is a quiet zone. Any individual who violates these two restrictions will be sanctioned.
  • Visits: Visitors must leave the building no later than 11:00 PM. Guests are not allowed to stay overnight. Guests with visitors are responsible for their guests and their actions.
  • Conflict resolution: Try to communicate with the person you have a problem with effectively, calmly, and responsibly, and resolve the conflict if possible. If the problem escalates, contact Management so that Blue Jeans Coliving can mediate the situation.
